Are you in San Diego? I could swear I’ve seen that shoebox you call a car riding around here.

I just want you to adjust your volume levels and/or get a better mic! ;) I have to turn the volume up so high to be able to hear it that whenever something ‘real’ buts in to my podcast it’s deafening... but I keep listening!
Great shows, I really enjoyed your chat with Bob Lutz! Glad you are back to regular podcasts.

Thanks I’m really happy to be back on a schedule too, life caughts up with you in unexpected ways sometimes.
Do you have a time example of what your talking about with the volume issue?
your not the first to give me this complaint, I listen to every podcast before it goes live, so I’ve been missing the problem.
As an aside I had a low volume issue downloading the smoking tire though iTunes, but I deleted the download and redownloaded and it solved the issue

Every time I play your podcasts, the volume level is much lower than just about everything else. Not really any specific time, it’s all the time. It’s only your podcast that is this quiet. I often end up with the volume in my car at full blast so I can hear you. Most podcasts I have the volume around half...
FWIW I don’t use iTunes, I’m using a podcasting app “Downcast” which uses various feeds to maintain it’s offline downloads. I listen to a lot of podcasts, from yours and the smoking tire to various tech podcasts, from many different sources. There is a setting I can use in Downcast to make a permanent volume adjustment to your specific podcast, but I haven’t set that (yet) - it’s using the default audio levels.
